NEW YORK, December 11, 2017<\/strong> \u2013 Neuberger Berman, a global, independent, employee-owned investment manager is honored to be ranked second among companies with 1,000 employees or more in the 2017 \u201cBest Places to Work in Money Management\u201d survey by Pensions & Investments<\/em>, the global news source of money management. Employee responses highlighted the firm\u2019s open communication, volunteer spirit and retirement solutions and planning resources, among other strengths. Following a first place finish in 2016, this year marks the fifth consecutive year that Neuberger Berman has been among the winning firms in this same category.<\/p>\n

Pensions & Investments<\/em> partnered with Best Companies Group, an independent research firm specializing in identifying great places to work, to conduct a two-part survey process of employers and their employees.<\/p>\n

The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies.<\/p>\n
